🐦✨ From Cat Attack to Comeback Queen ✨🐦

This beautiful Song Thrush arrived after a cat attack with several nasty injuries and was feeling very sorry for herself.

As always with cat related injuries, what you see on the outside is often only part of the problem. Cat saliva carries bacteria that can quickly become life threatening without prompt treatment.

After veterinary medication, careful monitoring, and plenty of daily wound care, this little lady has done what Song Thrushes do best... refused to give up. 💪

Fast forward a week and just look at her. Healthy feathers, bright eyes, and growing into an absolute beauty. ❤️

These are the moments that keep us going through the long days, sleepless nights, endless washing, feeding, cleaning, and worrying.

Every bird that gets a second chance reminds us exactly why we do this.

If you spot a bird that has been caught by a cat, please seek help immediately, even if injuries appear minor.
