More and more people are choosing direct cremation, and with that comes another option that is becoming increasingly popular – a Celebration of Life ceremony.
The lovely thing about a Celebration of Life is that there are no rules and no set format. It can be a large gathering filled with stories, music and laughter, or a smaller, more intimate occasion shared with close family and friends.
A Celebration of Life can be held almost anywhere with the landowner’s permission – a village hall, hotel, restaurant, care home, golf club, pub or somewhere that held special meaning to the person being remembered.
Every life is unique, and every farewell can be too.
If you’re thinking about a Celebration of Life for yourself or a loved one, or you’re simply curious about what one might involve, I’m always happy to have a chat.
