Congratulations to Kim and Mathew who tied the knot last month! ✨

Slow sunday mornings are made for coffee in bed whilst scrolling Pinterest (which is absolutely me right now!)

BUT the one thing that’s standing out to me so much at the moment is the amount of obvious AI generated images instead of people sharing something they’ve actually made.

I can only imagine this is so confusing for anybody trying to plan a wedding trying to decipher what’s actually possible and what only exists on a screen 🤪

So here are a few tips on how to spot an AI image and a little reminder that everything you see on my page and website has been made by me and photographed in natural light so you get a true idea of what your dried wedding flowers will look like.

🩵 Something Blue 🩵

I absolutely love how this custom dried flower bridal bouquet for a November wedding has turned out, my lovely bride Ellie isn’t keen on roses so instead I opted for preseved peonies, ranunculus, carnations and hydrangeas for the focal flowers with dried daisies as these are her favourites 🌼 and navy blue accents to match the colour of her bridesmaid dresses.

Last year a bride contacted me who was getting married in between Christmas and new year and she was really struggling when it came to her wedding flowers. 💐

She’d contacted a number of fresh flower florists who had all declined her flower order not because they didn’t want the business but because of the Christmas shut down. The flower wholesalers all shut down over Christmas for that much needed break and a lot of small business owners choose to fully switch off too and enjoy the festive period. 🎄

The beauty of dried and preserved flowers is that they can be made up in advance and still look perfect for the wedding day, I was able to make up and deliver the brides flowers a couple of weeks before Christmas so that she could relax knowing they were sorted.
