We are a beautiful creative ceramics studio in Macclesfield, Cheshire that offers one-of-a-kind ceramic tile photo frames, sentimental gifts, adorable and quirky ceramics, pottery painting, mobile parties, and more. I've always been creative, ever since I can remember. Making has been a large part of my life. I studied IT and Information management and used that knowledge in consumer marketing for

many years before becoming self-employed and a proud owner of my own brand. Periwinkle and Clay as a brand and business, has adapted over the years (as have I) and 2022 opened an exciting opportunity for me to start teaching pottery and sharing my passion for ceramics with others from the studio I had in Bollington. I've developed and grown over the last two years and have been presented with the most amazing opportunity to open a new studio in the centre of Macclesfield to share my love for creativity and ceramics with more people. I'm joined by two amazing ladies who have been utterly brilliant supportive friends to me and who are also very creative in their own ways. We're all advocates of the mindful and therapeutic benefits that being creative with clay and pottery brings. So our new beautiful creative studio will be located in Wood Street Mill, Wood Street, Macclesfield, SK11 6JQ and will be home to one-of-a-kind ceramic tile photo frames, sentimental gifts, adorable and quirky ceramics, pottery painting and decorating, corporate events, mobile parties, and precious footprint pottery keepsakes. I'm starting again... it feels like I'm starting from scratch, but this time with more knowledge and a simple plan.

I know so many of you want the frames back and I'm sorry it's taken me a while to get to this point. The truth is after losing my dad and the business nose diving on not on the high street, then finding myself in a terrible financial position, I had to change tactics. The pottery painting studio became my focus and it has taken me a while to get back on my feet!

A lot has changed in this time... a LOT... business wise, frame prices, postage prices have almost doubled (hasn't everything!!) personally I am
Now 47, a decade older with less energy and two older more demanding girls!! Definitely in perimenopause land and forgetting things very easily! So whatever I do next with the frames needs to be simple so I can remember where I'm at and nor can I work late into the night any more lol

So, I'll be separating off the frames from Periwinkle and Clay. Even though I'll still use this page to advertise them as that's where you all are after all these years!! But I'll be using another name for running and making them and everything else. This name is 'The tile pottery' - I've set up a brand new account over on instagram, - not on facebook yet. So it would be awesome if you could go and give it a follow.

In the meantime, to help me figure out what to make and offer you, please comment below and tell me:

What size tile you preferred 45mm, 60mm,75mm, 90mm or supersize and then
Tell me which frame style was your favourite: 2 tile, Single, 9 tile frame

What's not to love about extra painting time, a bottle of your favourite plonk and good old catch up with your friends? These nights often get sold out, so don't hang around with booking them.
