Large Glass Flame Sculpture 5-hr Workshop, £125pp Limited spaces! Message me if interested.
Description: create a large (W:25cm x H:30cm), beautiful glass flame sculpture with glass or log stand. This is a 5-hr workshop that predominantly uses clear glass with fiery-coloured glass incorporated. You will learn to score and break/nip strips of glass, and then design, layer and construct your flame. You will also make a clear glass stand which can be embellished to create a setting for your flame and once fired, I can glue twigs, pine cones or acorns (you choose) and/or 2 glass tealight holders to illuminate your piece. OR: you can opt to have it displayed in a real log. The glass tealight holders are an additional £5 but everything else is included in the price. This piece would look stunning displayed in a fireplace or on a mantlepiece. The flickery effect can be made from larger/longer pieces of glass and the flame overall shape can vary. The choice is yours. More inspiration, guidance and photos will be available at the workshop. www.GlassAlisa.co.uk

Description: Create a unique, large, glass Christmas Tree or Winter Tree sculpture and glass stand which would look striking in front of a window. This is a 5-hr workshop that predominantly uses clear glass with coloured glass incorporated. You will learn to score and break/nip strips of glass, and then design, layer and construct your tree. You will also make a glass stand which can be embellished to create a setting for your tree and 2 glass tealight holders can be glued on to illuminate your piece. You can also make little 'presents' that I can glue to the base of the tree - and some holly leaves to make it extra Christmassy. A silver or gold metal star can be glued to the top of the tree after firing. This piece would look stunning displayed as a centrepiece or on a mantlepiece. The photos show a Christmas Tree that has been created by a workshop attendee and looks great by day and by night. You can choose the colours and how you want your tree to look/be displayed. More inspiration, guidance and photos will be available at the workshop. The glass tealight holders are an additional £5 but everything else is included in the price.
