Who knew in June 2024 when the first photo was taken that, when I returned in July 2025 I would be 3 months into recovery from a craniotomy to remove a meningioma which had become symptomatic.
So, I exaggerate not when I say that view was the best breath of fresh air I have ever I had!
The relatively unchanged view was a stark reminder to me that while time has had little effect on the scape a lot can happen in a year.
In 2024 that photo was taken with excitement about my budding new business, and looking forward to better times ahead after the loss of my father-in-law, the 2025 scape was taken with just pure relief to be here.
The realisation for me - health is paramount people!
All the things outside influences seem to push us to strive for - new jobs, new business ventures, making more money, house renos, new cars, holidays, new clothes, looking younger, getting fit, amazing social media feeds, influencers, increasing your followers - without your health none of that matters. Good health is the foundation for us all.
So to all my family and friends who have travelled with me on my journey and…to my favourite place the Isle of Wight…thank you from the bottom of my heart.
