One of the questions I get asked most often at markets is, "Do you really make and bake everything yourself?"

The answer is always a very definite yes! 😊

What many people don't see is the amount of work that happens behind the scenes before market day arrives. My sourdough, for example, is a labour of love. Several days before a market, I start feeding my sourdough starter to get it at its absolute best. The leaven is then made around 36 hours before baking, and every loaf is mixed, folded, shaped, and baked entirely by hand. For an average market, I'll make around 36 sourdough loaves, alongside all my other baked goods.

Market preparation makes for some very long days, and that's where my Thermomix TM7 becomes invaluable. It takes care of so many time-consuming jobs, from mixing pastry and cake batters to making scones, muffins, fudge, fillings, and so much more. Without it, my stall would probably only hold half the stock it does now!

Perhaps even more importantly, it helps me keep family life running alongside the business. Before Thermomix, the days leading up to a market often meant takeaways and ready meals because there simply wasn't enough time to cook. Now I can prepare family meals while getting everything ready for the stall.

And one of my favourite features? It practically cleans itself!
When you're juggling dozens of loaves, cakes, and bakes, saving time on washing up is worth its weight in gold.

When I'm not busy baking for markets, I love showing individuals and families how the Thermomix can help them save both time and money in the kitchen. It makes it easy to create delicious meals, bakes and treats from scratch, giving you complete control over the ingredients that go into the food you eat.

The TM7 hasn't replaced the skill, passion, or hard work that goes into my baking—but it has given me more time to do what I love most: creating delicious food for my customers and my family. ❤️

If you'd like to see this amazing machine in action, I'd be delighted to arrange a free, no-obligation demonstration. Simply send me a message and let's get something in the diary!
