Quick throwback to this CUPRA x Chase & Status - London Activation we recently did 🥰😍

For CUPRA’s London activation with Chase & Status, we delivered the visual production and installation across the main stage and venue environment. Our scope included the creation and installation of the main CUPRA stage logo, as well as the assembly of the reflective stage panels designed to react dynamically to the sound and energy of the performance.

To complete the venue experience, we developed a cohesive branded environment throughout the space, including entrance banners, perimeter posters, and the installation of perimeter barriers finished with a distinctive Mirror Frozen effect. The result was a bold, immersive setting that reinforced CUPRA’s identity while complementing the high-energy atmosphere of the live performance.

We're proud to share our recent transformation of The Liquid Room, Edinburgh - one of the city's most iconic nightlife venues, reimagined for its next chapter.

Nearly three decades since it first opened its doors, founder John "Mick" McWilliams gave us a brief built around one simple philosophy: "music is fluid." Our job was to translate that idea into every surface, seat and shadow of the space - from a statement entrance and sculptural feature walls, to reworked seating, bars, and even the smallest details most people will never think twice about.

Months of design and construction, our team worked hand in hand with the Liquid Room team to bring that vision to life, and the result speaks for itself: a space that's already being called exactly what Edinburgh's nightlife needs.

It's been a genuine honour to work on a venue that means so much to this city, and projects like this are exactly why we do what we do. We're passionate about transforming spaces into experiences - taking something familiar and giving it a whole new life.

The Dance Floor 🪩

This is where the magic happens. It's our testing ground, where we assemble, test and fine tune every build before it leaves the warehouse.

Before anything is shipped to a client or installed on site, we make sure every detail works, looks and feels exactly as it should. We test, tweak, refine and repeat until it’s right.

And no two days are ever the same. The space is transformed daily depending on the project we’re bringing to life, making our warehouse one of the most exciting and inspiring places to be.

It’s where our teams’ ideas move from drawings and concepts into something real.

Boomtown part 1 😍😍

There's nothing quite like seeing months of planning finally come to life on site. This year's build has been in the works since February, so watching the ideas, designs and early conversations turn into finished spaces was a genuinely rewarding moment for everyone involved.

This year Visual Architects delivered six builds across the festival:
🌳 Anara Stage
🌲 Hidden Woods Stage
✨ A Beatbox brand activation
🥃 An activation for H***h
🎪 Signage for the official Boomtown merch stand
🎪 Lycra canopies
💥 Various installations around the site

Each one had its own brief, personality and challenges - which is exactly what makes these projects so enjoyable. From those first conversations back in February through to standing in front of the finished builds, it was brilliant to see each vision become a reality.

A huge thank you to everyone on the Visual Architects team and everyone involved in bringing these projects together. A lot goes on behind the scenes to make activations like these happen, and the whole team is incredibly proud of what was delivered.

Months of planning, six very different builds, one campsite… and another Boomtown done. 🎉
