The HMG team recently made the trip to the Science and Industry Museum in Manchester to see our coatings in action on the Starchaser Skybolt 2 Rocket. 🚀

As a long-term technical partner of Starchaser Industries, HMG supplied specialist coatings used on the rocket, helping to protect the craft through some incredibly demanding conditions during its launch and journey.

It was great for the team to see Skybolt 2 up close and proudly on display in our home city, showcasing another unique application of HMG coatings and British engineering. 🇬🇧

The Sammy Moffatt Open 2026! 🏌️⛳

Last week, members of the team at HMG took to the course for our annual Golf Day, with the golf bug well and truly taking over at HMG!

After the rainy conditions last year, the weather was much better this time around, with all of the teams able to make their way around the full 18 holes and enjoy a great day of golf.

A number of prizes were presented at the end of the day, with this year’s winners being:

🏌️ Longest Drive – John Mercer
🎯 Nearest the Pin – Bailey Dawes
🥈 Second Place – Andy Lomas
🏆 Sammy Moffett Shield Winner – Charlie Holding

Congratulations to all of this year’s winners and a big thank you to everyone who took part and made it another great day of golf!

Take a look at some of the teams and photos taken on the day. 📸❤️
