Hello lovely people! I’ve been very quiet on here recently, mainly because I’ve been growing a tiny human, who popped out on Monday 17th April at lunchtime 🥰

On Friday we lost a true gentleman. After a courageous battle with Parkinson’s, my father in law passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.

I can't get enough of this giant tropical mural that is going to be installed in one of my projects soon 😍

We've teamed it with black slatted wall panelling for added depth, and brought in lots of textures through soft furnishings, the lamps and THAT pendant light!

I can't wait to see this one come to life - why can't we start it tomorrow?!

I start all my projects with an initial one hour consultation. Often this is just the start of a client's journey with me as they have a larger project to tackle and want more support, but sometimes it is just what a client needs!

I met this lovely family recently who were about to get a garage conversion but weren't quite sure how to make the most of the space. We met for about an hour and really got into the nitty gritty of layout, style and colour so that when I left they felt excited and confident about the project!

Happy Tuesday folks - anyone else get really confused by a bank holiday Monday? I should be a day behind, but I always end up a day ahead and disappointed that it's not Friday already!!

I've got a busy week this week finishing off Layouts and Concepts for 2 clients before presenting them on Thursday and Friday. I love the initial part of the design process: presenting different options on how a space could be laid out, and my initial thoughts on how it will look and feel. Its the point where clients are often the most stuck, and the one where I can see them get as excited as I am by their home!

I hope your week is going well, I had a new client consult today, and I’ve got a kick off meeting on Thursday for a client’s open plan kitchen 😊 both clients were overwhelmed with all the decisions and making their ideas a reality, that’s why they got in touch with me!

Pink Kitchen coming later in 2022!

We've recently decided on the final layout for this kitchen project, now we're moving on the the Detailed Design stage where we choose the exact colours, finishes, furniture and styling items, and I for one am excited!!

Cue deliveries of tiles, paints, flooring and door handles so we can see everything in real life! It's so important to look at items in the actual room they are going to live in as lighting can have a massive effect!
