I love that many living creatures create their own light. I was inspired by researching a session for our home education group. This is the same painting, the second image is in the dark with black light shining on it. I used a mixture of acrylic inks, acrylic paint and glow in the dark acrylic paint.

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1:5

Another fingerprint tree ready to go! This is one of my favourites to draw.
(The guests will add their fingerprints to create blossom/leaves and sign their name to make a very personal reminder of the couple’s special day.)

It’s really lovely to know that more weddings can go ahead and to have some more orders from some really great couples. Their guests will leave their fingerprints and sign their names to make the leaves or blossom.

I thought I’d share something I did with my 3 year old daughter in case it helps anyone during half term. You just need paint, masking tape, cotton buds and either oil pastels or crayons.
1. Make the shape of trees with the masking tape.
2.Paint the sky
3. Use cotton buds to dab on the leaves of the trees and the ground
4. Carefully remove the masking tape
5. Let it dry or use a hairdryer to dry it
6. Use crayons or oil pastels to draw markings on the trees and add to the leaves
