My sister used to work at Sol de Janeiro HQ.
She told me that ahead of every big seasonal drop, they run internal clearance for older kits like their Ultimate Gift Box — especially limited editions.
Usually it’s for staff only, but right now they’ve quietly opened a short test run where regular people can try it too.
I joined out of curiosity — answered 8 quick questions, paid just a couple euros, and the box? Honestly better than I imagined.
Full-sized products, all sealed. No subscriptions, no weird catches.

My mum was let go from Sol de Janeiro’s regional team after five years due to health issues.
So I feel okay sharing something that usually stays within the company.
Whenever a new product wave launches, they need to clear out the old gift sets — like the Ultimate Gift Box — fast.
Usually it’s just staff and family who get access through a private form, but now it looks like the link was opened more widely.
I filled it out, answered a few questions, and the box was shipped right to my door.

A friend of mine works in a Sol de Janeiro distribution center.
He mentioned that when a new campaign or collection launches, they instantly remove older gift sets from the system.
But sometimes, there's a private link that lets a few outsiders grab one of their Ultimate Gift Boxes at a crazy low price.
I gave it a shot — just answered a few quick questions and the box was delivered to my door a few days later.

Endometriosis Awareness
I’m still not 100% comfortable about sharing but need to get past this to help spread awareness.
Yesterday it was one year since I had my second endo related operation. Unfortunately it hasn’t made a positive difference to my pain levels. This is coupled with the guilt and anxiety of not being able to do everything I want to do like see friends due to fatigue that can be hard to explain to people.
I first started getting medical advice in 2020 but looking back what I thought was just bad period pain for 20 years was definitely the start of things. I am aware that for many women with endometriosis the pain and length of treatment is a lot more intense.
Most of the time I am a confident person and comfortable speaking up for myself. However for some reason as soon I speak to a doctor I struggle to express myself, doubt the severity of my symptoms and forget what to say.
I have been given conflicting advice even when seen in the same hospital, from telling me they strongly recommend getting a hysterectomy to then the complete opposite. Waiting a year for another surgery to then be told no and if I wanted to it would be an 80 week wait. Being told I was much lower down the priority list because of my personal choice not to have children and my first surgeon laughing and crossing his fingers saying “let’s pray to god this works because I don’t know what we will do next”. (I requested to move hospital immediately after this).
These experiences have affected my confidence and changing advice makes things harder to process.
So what’s the point of this post?
Endometriosis affects 1 in 10 women and gets a disproportionately low amount of funding and research. If you think you or a loved one may suffer from it, seek medical advice and don’t be fobbed off. Keep pushing. Hopefully you will receive the attention and care that you deserve. Xx
