Just a quick reminder, we've got the very awesome & talented Victoria Hayward and Gav Thorpe with us this afternoon to chat all things fantasy literature! (Plus you'll get to see Dave geek out a little as well!)

20/08/2026

Evening everyone. Just a quick PSA...due to staff holiday (Dave's machine spirit needed tending to!) we will be open from 11am tomorrow instead of the usual 10am.
Apologies for any inconvenience.

14/08/2026

Please note, we have closed early again today due to the ridiculously high temperature in store!
Back to normal tomorrow.
Apologies for any inconvenience.

12/08/2026

Also...a date for your diary's for when it's hopefully a bit cooler!

12/08/2026

Afternoon everyone. Hope you're all well & coping with the heat?!
Just to let you all know we will be closing at 1:30 today and tomorrow due to it being warmer than Smaug's breath in here at the minute!
Stay safe & keep cool everyone

Customer Notice...
Due to the Mansfield Carnival this coming Saturday, Leeming Street will be closed off to traffic from 7:30am, with the carnival activities starting from 12pm, (which tend to end up blocking the entrance to the shop!) therefore we will be closing the Mansfield store at 12pm.
Apologies for any inconvenience.

Morning everyone, hope you're all alright & coping with the heat?!
Unfortunately, due to it being ludicrously warm in the shop again today we will be closing at 1pm.
I knew it was going to be warm when I got here at 6:30 this morning & I caught 2 Hobbits trying to throw a piece of jewellery into the shop!
Should be back to normal tomorrow thankfully!
Stay safe everyone & apologies for any inconvenience.

09/07/2026

Due to the shop being slightly warmer than the fires of Mount Doom we will be closing at 1pm today and between 1pm and 5pm tomorrow. Apologies for any inconvenience.

02/07/2026

Morning all. Just a quick PSA...the Mansfield store will be closing at 1:45pm today due to Dave having to have his machine-spirit checked over. We will be back open as usual tomorrow.
Apologies for any inconvenience.

26/06/2026

Further to this morning's announcement I've taken the difficult decision to close early today, the upstairs at the shop is just far too warm for staff & customers to be comfortable.
We will be back open as normal tomorrow 10-3
