The Pomweaves are breaking out this weekend to attend the Eastrea Mind Body Spirit Fayre. While making up some kits with mini Pomweaves I couldn’t resist having a doodle on some of the big ones.

I've been busy as have started tutoring online as well as doing all the other normal stuff so the creation of the website and playing with the Pomweave was put on hold, but it's up now.

So I’ll probably be making fairies and people for a while. I will get fixed on one thing and then stop doing it for a long time. I love the Pomweave for this reason as I can become fixated with braiding and then weaving or Pom Poms and the tool remains useful. Also so many quick makes 🙂

The sun is out so I made a little tree fairy, for now she’s staying indoors but I think she’d love to hang out amongst the cherry blossom when it arrives.

Body is a tassel, wings are made as if making a Pom Pom but with much less yarn and not cutting the loops.

Tried to do a video but had interruption after interruption so that went out the window. I did however manage to make this tiered tassel during the video attempts. It’s simple to make by just stringing single tassels together. I created a loop at the top and crocheted around it but it could be finished off in lots of ways.

Look at those freshly cut Pomweaves waiting for their coat of colour. There’s lots of mini Pomweaves too and they’lol be appearing in kits soon.

There’s only one Pomweave left in my Etsy shop. I’m so very thankful for your orders. I will be adding more soon and am working on some kits which will include a mini pomweave.
