Water. Water. Water πŸ’§

We are suffering with todays heat so our wildlife definitely are, especially those feeding babies πŸ¦πŸ¦”πŸΏπŸπŸ¦‘πŸ¦‰πŸ

Please leave clean, shallow dishes of water out amd keep topping up, it can really help.save a life! ( I have put a bucket near the hole in the fence where the deer come in)

5 markets in a week (πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«)

We had a fantastic day today at Mabels Makers Market, with some really lovely comments from people 😘

Catchphrase of the day was 'its Chelsea, but cheaper' 🌸 Thank you so much to everyone who supports my small business! (You feed families, not paying a CEO's bonus)

Thank you to team Mabel The Bakery for organising such great events, the volunteers who helped unload the van (there were a LOT of plants), my amazing Mum Pauline Parnell for EVERYTHING she does, and Martin Green who has kept the household going this week and daughter fed, cleaned, and to school (really appreciated!!)

Finished watering at 11pm....having a large vodka....and hopefully a lie in tomorrow !

Recieved these photos from Rebecca who i volunteer with at the library πŸ’•

Have a great bank holiday everyone !

Had some help this evening potting up the lavender into bee tins πŸ₯°

The weather is forecast to be very hot over the bank holiday, so please remember to keep the water topped up for the wildlife πŸ¦”πŸ¦πŸΈ

If you need plants for your garden this weekend then pop to The Market at Downham Market Friday and Saturday, and then back again Sunday for a Mabels Makers Market, hosted by Mabel The Bakery

There is also a selection at home if you cannot make a market

My Dad always says "5 minutes at night, is 15 minutes in the morning"

He is right, however my van is only half loaded for Brandon Market tomorrow as the universe threw me spanner in the works tonight in the form of 2 hedgehogs with ringworm munching away in the feeding station together πŸ¦”

So for the second night running (last night was a baby rabbit v 4 cats), I headed to RSPCA East Winch Wildlife Centre to drop them off. We are sooo lucky to have such a great centre locally, looking after all native British wildlife from a mouse, to a fox, to a seal. They have a shop and visitor centre open on Fridays and Saturdays where you can watch the seals in their pools so pop along and support them 🦭

Hopefully the 2 will recover quickly, and can be released back into the garden soon πŸ¦”

So ive watered, but not loaded, better put the alarm clock on and I will be muttering that Dad was right in the morning πŸ₯±

Huge thanks also to Pepper's help for hedgehogs for the fast advice πŸ₯°

Whaaaaat its only Monday (well technically now Tuesday) and ive already done
over 15 hours today!
It is a super busy week, I thought being self employed would mean more family time, but this time of the year is totally opposite. Poor WG, but fortunately she has a great Dad who supports us both (plus Mum and Dad ❀️)

She got star of the week last week for basically being a super kind and supportive person ! πŸ₯°(Ill take that over academic reasons any day)

So this week ill be at .....
Docking Market Wed
Brandon Market Thurs
The Market at Downham Market Fri & Sat
Mabel The Bakery Market Sunday !!

After finally finishing watering i thought id start potting up for Mabels on Sunday...going to focus on plants for the bees 🐝 so do I pot up in the Bee tin, or the metal jug? (Or both?) πŸŒΈπŸ€·β€β™€οΈ
