I don't talk about the future of the business very often on here, so I thought I'd be a bit more open about it.
Where do we want LARC to be in a few years? Honestly — bigger, but not unmanageably so. We want to grow the rounds steadily, probably bring in some additional help at the right point, and keep expanding across the areas we serve. There's a lot of ground to cover across Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire and we're still building in a lot of places.
More than the size of the business, what we want is to be the name people in this area think of first. Not because we've shouted the loudest or offered the cheapest deal, but because we've built a track record of turning up, doing the work well and being straightforward to deal with. That's the business we're trying to build.
We also want to keep investing in what we offer — better systems, more services done properly, things that make the experience easier for customers. The WhatsApp quote system we've recently set up is a good example of that. You can now get a quote from us at any time of day without having to wait for a call back — the AI handles it. That kind of thing matters.
We're not in a rush. We'd rather take three years to build something solid than try to move fast and cut corners. The early months have taught us that the standard you set from the beginning is really hard to change later. So we're trying to get it right from the start.
Thanks for following along with where this is all going. It means more than you'd think. 🙏
