Great Easton is full of quirky and medieval buildings, some with beautifully made thatch toppers. It’s a great location for a family day out while finding the creatures on the thatched ridges. There are hares, cats and dogs, a swan, and a family of ducklings. Can you find them all?

Look out for the tiny quirky windows, the round thatch, names scratched onto window panes and the clock house. There is the old corset factory, the pump on the village green, the recreation ground, and the church.

Take a break at the Makers Market. Have a cuppa and some homemade cake.

There is a beautiful walk from Nevill Holt to Great Easton along public footpaths. If you take this walk on Saturday, 8th November 2025, you will find a gathering of artists and artisans displaying and selling their works of art. Come and join us! Free entry and we have cake and refreshments.
