Scolyn's Patch This is my Therapy!! I have ME/fibromyalgia & a spinal injury. Check my page out for what I Make!

I was diagnosed with ME/fibromyalgia and also have spinal injury. I make Memory/keepsake throws, cushions, patchwork bed throws, tote bags, shoulder bags and various other bits and bobs!! I also make bits for campers/caravanners etc :)
This is my Therapy!!! Things are made to order and can take a little longer due to my illness as I need to rest after a short while, so I usually say 2 days minimum if urgent!

I was retiring in January this year but due to continuing bear demand I've decided to keep making the bears!!

I make keepsake bears (also quilts & Cushions!) from clothing. From a late ones clothes as memories (usually several can be made for family members too), School leaver bears from the school uniform embroidered with name and year, and uniform from Scouting/Guiding groups etc.
The Bears sit at a large 16" (40cm) high, done with the eye colour of your choice, and either fur (different colours available) or fabric faces.
They are £29 each, and all hand made by me.

I've finally got round to making myself a new shoulder bag using the Murray of Atholl fabric, it's only taken 18 months to finally do!!

Nice and roomy with 2 zipped pockets inside on either side, 2 slip pockets on either end, and a pocket on reverse to carry a tote bag or other bits in, and a long adjustable strap for shoulder or across body. 😀

Had a little change from the traditional circular 'tie' cushions I've been making for my lovely friend from 'Buffs' tie...

Had a little change from the traditional circular 'tie' cushions I've been making for my lovely friend from 'Buffs' ties from all over the world!! Hopefully these will go back into the RAOB and distributed to other members.
Some of the edges of designs don't look straight with way cushion sits!!

I have made some more comforters after I was cleared out of the last lot!
I have again used some small toys & beanies and have added a little blanket made from soft minky fabrics.
Most of the cuddlies are CE marked and the couple that aren't are embroidered eyes/noses.
They range from £1 - £6.

Bears are from £29 each, plus £1 per photo if required (maximum 2 photos per bear) and they sit at approx 18" (45cm) so quite big.
PLEASE NOTE BEARS ARE NOT TOYS!! I use safety eyes and nose but are designed as a keepsake not a toy!!

Quilts are charged at £4 per 12" Square (approx 31cm square) so for example a 3ft x 3ft quilt (9 squares) would be £36 which includes wadding/backing fabric.

Cushion covers are £10 each, £12 for a photo cushion with 1 picture up to A4 size printed on a linen fabric.

Postage is available for most items and quoted at ordering.

For those awaiting their bears it will be a couple of weeks before I can start cutting fabrics again!! I had a fall a couple of days ago and my hands have taken the worst of it!!
