Crochet is my passion! So far, to date I have been crocheting 11yrs and I self taught with my mother who brought me a my 1st magazine specifically to learn how to crochet, and so I did, like a boss!! 💪 (she didn't continue with it, think she realised crochet wasn't for her, it may have been too tricky or something, so I went it alone! - and let me tell you, all those stitches, hook sizes, patterns and gauges etc were pretty daunting when you're learning) but, due to being pregnant with my twins all those years ago (they're 11yrs old Xmas eve 2019) I wanted to crochet them their 1st blankets, no matter what or how they may have turned out, I was determined to create something special for them both, something I could wrap around them knowing they're wrapped in my love even when they're asleep 💖💙 - It was pretty lucky I had because they came 11 weeks early and they were both so teeny tiny - 2lb 5.5oz and 2lb 10.5oz - and as you can imagine absolutely nothing fitted them! - The nappies they had to wear whilst being in SCBU came past their shoulders, and they were the tiny baby nappies! - So I got my hook and yarn out and crocheted pieces for them whilst I sat aside them watching and waiting for them to get stronger, ready for the big trip home 😍. They were in hospital for 10 weeks, they came home a week before my very 1st mothers day! I kept busy during those long weeks as we waited and taught myself to crochet tiny wearables, they had beautiful hats, cardigans, mittens and blankets, all crochet by me! 💖💙
I'm now a mummy to 4 gorgeous children and I absolutely love them with my all! It definitely doesn't come cheaply keeping them clothed and alive! Haha! So I create to sell nowadays! Yarn is my weakness - I love yarn and I sell the creations I make with my yummy yarn to feed my addiction with new yummy, squishy yarn 😍 - it's a vicious circle! 😂😭😂❤️
I buy only the best of yarns - cheap yarn = scratchy heads, hands, necks, bodies! Cheap is not always cheerful! But finding a bargain is acceptable! ;) - I'm always looking out for a few of those! 🧐
I crochet beautiful wearables in all sizes and ages. I absolutely adore to create for others, no one will ever receive something that isn't 100% perfect!
So, that is me - Well a portion of me is in all of that! I also love and collect SHOES and anything sparkly! 💖 - keeping me happy is really expensive! 😂💯
