Good Morning,

What a lovely class we had on Saturday using panels to make bags. Some went for the straightforward and simplistic route, other went for a bit of a lining tutorial too! Most got finished if it wasn’t for timing issues or slight machine issues, but fun was had by all! There will be more of these classes to come…..!

This week we are celebrating our 12th Birthday. It’s crazy we have been open this long as sometimes it feels like a year not 12! But I thank everyone who has helped and supported us along the way. As a thank you, we are offering 10% off everything this week (excluding gift vouchers, classes and handmade items) so do call in.

Tonight is Birthday Bingo! We are super full due to my inability to read a diary these days! The door will be locked at 5:55pm ready for eyes down at 6pm. Do message me asap if you think you may be late……but the bingo goers won’t allow me to start later! 😂

Open until 2:30pm, then I will finally get some lunch and then back for bingo. If the gate is open, I will be in the shop as I’m not coming back home after closing 😊

Good Morning,

We are 12!! I pinch myself everyday that this is my life but it would not be possible at all without you wonderful people.
As a treat for you all, we are offering 10% off in store all week (does not include gift vouchers, classes or handmade items) but it certainly does include already reduced stock…you know those £8 per metre fabrics and 50p box…..yup, includes those too!
So call in and grab an even bigger bargain all this week!

Thank you to a lovely friend for the AI poster, it’s not my usual thing and the ones in the shop will be very plain!! But it doesn’t matter, it’s the discount that does and what a way to celebrate before we officially become a teenager!

Good Morning,

Another early start today while I put things back after some new units went up yesterday. 🙈 I am having a day off tomorrow!
This morning we have the lovely Flora and Form bag class starting at 9:30am, learning the basics of how to construct items from panels and making a basic bad. Next Saturday has been changed to a social following my faux pas with dates for the crochet burning. Social is full, but there’s 2 spaces left on the bunting which was changed to 25th July (possibly more pending the remaining ones already booked for next week getting in touch and letting me know either way please)

A couple of fabric deliveries arrived this week which I am slowly getting around to, but I had to show off our additions to the New Zealand collection 💖 some are now online, others I will get to over the weekend.
Open until 1pm today. I may be in a little later depending on how well I get on this morning!

Good Morning,

Super early start this morning so renovations can be done while we have no class in! 🙈
The bottom corner will be a little upside down today but we will keep disturbance to a minimum where possible.
But, we have bargains like this to keep you occupied in other parts of the shop……only £10 for Christmas fat quarters!! There’s 5 fat quarters in a pack making them only £2 each! You can’t beat a bargain like that! There’s donkeys, highland cows, dogs, gingerbreads, snowflakes and traditional! I only have 2 packs of each (except the red dogs 🤷🏻‍♀️) so do grab them while you can.

Bag class tomorrow: don’t forget your sewing machine, basic sewing kit - (in particular…..scissors!) and that it starts at 9:30am just to make sure you finish!

We will be closing as normal at 2:30pm today as I stayed until after 4pm yesterday and left plenty of mess, hence the early start! 😂

Good Morning,

Today we are finishing up with the mandala blankets and other projects before we start something new in the coming months. A bit of time on unfinished projects always helps to bring that pile down before adding to it again over the winter months! Hopefully bringing them in to a social setting gives you the encouragement to get them moving again!

I finally got the vegetable fabric onto the Etsy shop last night. My apologies it has taken so long and I don’t really have a reason why! But, I will be staying later today to try and get Etsy tidied up while also sorting out other fabrics ready for further renovations. I’m sure this will all be worth it! 😉

Open until 2:30pm today, but if the gate is open and door locked after that, just give me a knock or ring the shop phone.

Good Morning,

Today we have our knit and crochet social group from 10am. Lots of different projects on the go and more nattering than steam coming off needles and hooks! (Isn’t that also the case at a craft social group!?)
We have more photos of finished projects too. The blanket is from our Thursday mandala class and I just love the vibrant orange and the way it pops. There’s also another finished picture from our Sunday Session 2 weeks ago with extra bits added. Well done ladies, they are fantastic. More stick n stitch coming soon…….I’m working on it!

Open until 1pm today. I will be in early but I’m not staying late, I need a little bit of time away but the renovation and sort out continues!

Good Morning,

Today we continue with our squares project. There’s some way to go on a quite a few of them while deciding how many different squares to do, blanket or cushion or something else etc etc are decided upon!
The crochet bunting workshop has been changed from 20th June to the 25th July. I put the post on last night when I realised why that Saturday had been missed out. A few have been in touch but do let me know either way if people can make the changed date or if you would like added to the new date. (Full info in the events list)
Another reminder about bingo next Monday night - please pay asap or let me know asap if you can’t make it. The list is huge so final details need sorted 🙈 I think that’s my list of reminders ticked for now!

We are open until 2:30pm today but I will be around in the back and then staying until late to continue the renovations and sort out 😳. So do give me a knock if the gate is open but the door is locked.

Good Morning,

We had a lovely social group on Saturday and one of of wonderful ladies even baked cakes (early as it was the last social for a few weeks) for the shops birthday! Thank you so much Lindsey, they were lovely.
I got a 50p box out on the counter and no doubt it will keep being added to as the sort out continues! So do come in for a rummage - lots of haberdashery items in: pins, threads, some wonder web strips etc and loads more!
There’s only 2 of the £5 diamond art card kits left too. So if you wanted one, do call in asap.

I’m making my way to the shop in a few minutes and will be open until 2:30pm 😊

Good Morning,

I’m missing a photo but what a lovely finger knitting class yesterday. All completed by the end and a new technique added to everyone’s CV!. Well done ladies 💖
Today we have social Saturday while I’m also continuing the sort out. I have found so many bits and bobs, so expect a 50p box coming out soon (if I can sort it for this morning then I will do!) There’s a method in my madness with this, but you will see why…..hopefully soon!

Open until 1pm today and given I didn’t have last Sunday off, my plan this weekend is to catch up at home too! 🙈
Of course there will be crafting on the agenda and I hope there’s a bit of crafting in your weekend too. 😊
