Good Morning,

I hope you all had a lovely weekend, whatever you were doing. I managed to get a border on my Love Letter to Autumn crochet blanket, I just need to sort a lot of ends out and finish off my plaid squares!
This week I am working on all of the fat quarters and putting them into colours, themes, bundles or whatever I can sort out before Friday, just in case you hadn’t heard, Friday is our Fat Quarter Stash builder day from 9am with hundreds of fat quarters on display from the archives, collections never to reach the shop floor and some of our current ones too. So do call in, spread the word and get the stash built up, get ready to bundle some up to gift or look at new project ideas!
I will be in early today and may be in a bit later too! Official times are 9am - 2:30pm, but if the board is out, the shop is open! 😊

Good Morning,

Bits of information today:
This morning is the Saturday embroidery group from 10am so we will see how these ones are coming along. Only another 2 lots of temperatures to go!
The Harry Potter yarn has been super popular. I literally have 6 balls left and it is 2 Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. Gryffindor didn’t make it past the first 5 days!
I advertised a few bits last night and reminders for class payments. We have spaces on the Monday learn to crochet (if anyone would like to change from the Saturday class, you can do - just let me know), another advent panel class and our big one for next week……the fat quarter Friday stash builder opportunity!
Lots and lots of fat quarters on display from archive collections, collections which have never made it to the shop floor and some of our regular oddment piece too. A one off opportunity to see them all in one place. A great way to add to your stash, bundles for upcoming projects or picking up gifts idea for upcoming presents and those you know getting a machine for Christmas and wound like an opportunity to stock up on some cheaper ‘practise’ pieces!
I will be in early of course and will be open until around 2pm today, so a little later while I try and sort stuff out! Have a lovely weekend.

Good Morning,
Today we have our monthly embroidery class from 10am. The pictures on these are coming along so well and depending how much has been added to them, should be finished in early January. I can’t wait to see them done and all the colours added to them.
We have continued to get some deliveries with a few Christmas gift ideas in (or just simple treats for yourself!) and what a fantastic gift this wonderful card deck of quilting blocks would make. Or a great way to use up your scraps! Of course we have kept up with stock for the knitting and crochet card decks too, so plenty of choice.
I am in super early to try and get on top of some bits. Our Halloween fabrics will be disappearing from the shop floor today and tomorrow, so make sure you call in and if you have any last minute makes to do, as I have stunning new Christmas ones to bring out!
I’m in already, so knock if you need in and we will be closing at 2:30pm

Good Morning,

Today we are on our final official date of the A Love Letter to Autumn blanket class. There’s a couple over the finish line with a couple almost there. But this is one of the reasons for the Winter Blanket Club starting next week. ANY blanket started with us over the last few years can be brought in and we will help you over the finish line with it! These are projects with US only so we can assist and finally get them finished! Full details are under the events tab and this needs booked each week.

A top up haberdashery with a few Christmas bits arrived yesterday, so that is also on today’s agenda and then we have our monthly embroidery class tomorrow and Saturday. Only a couple of sessions left on these too. It’s all happening at the moment!
Of course I will be in early and closing at 2:30pm.

Good Morning,

Today we have our knit and crochet social group from 10am.
I have added some new classes over the last few days, so please do check out the events tab - a new learn to crochet, another advent panel, a winter blanket catch up club etc!
ALL groups need to be booked in prior to the day with us due to limited spaces in the workshop area. Many people have stopped doing this but it does cause some issues especially when I don’t know if I am turning people away or not the night before. We don’t have enough room for walk ins unfortunately 😢
More fabrics were uncovered yesterday with this beautiful range of alphabet panel and coordinating fabrics 💖
Open until 1pm today.

Good Morning,

Another bingo night ticked off and another box emptied with staying much, much later!
So today, let me introduce Tula Pink Legendary. Super vibrant fabrics to celebrate their 20th anniversary year with magical and mythical. Absolutely beautiful as always. These are also now variable online.
Today we have the penultimate class for the Love letter to Autumn crochet along. These have progressed really well so far and hopefully we are close to joining point for a lot of them.
Of course I will be in early, until 2:30pm. If I’m staying late, the gate will be open. But I have a mountain of paperwork to catch up on too 🙈
