A little behind the scenes at Pour & Placed…

It isn’t all blending fragrances and pouring candles. Every label, sleeve and box is designed by me too — and this weekend was spent surrounded by paper samples, test prints and far too many tiny adjustments.

New diffuser labels are taking shape, the Christmas gift boxes are coming together, and my studio desk currently tells the full story!

A labour of love, right down to the smallest detail 🤍

Today’s Pour & Placed creation is a little different… and entirely edible! 🎂

For my birthday, my wonderfully talented friend surprised me with this incredible cake version of my favourite Climping Beach candle — complete with label, wick and seashells.

It was so perfect, at first I wasn’t sure whether to cut it… but I did and it was utterly delicious 🤍

Nine hand-poured bouquet thank-you gifts, made flower by flower for nine bridesmaids.

So many individual pours, many hours at the workbench — and finally, the finished bouquets.

A rather different kind of making for Pour & Placed, but I loved seeing these come together.

From wax to bridesmaids’ gift bouquets… 🌸

A little behind the scenes from one of my recent wedding commissions — hand-pouring hundreds of individual wax flowers, ready to be made into thank you gift bouquets for nine bridesmaids.

Quite a production line by the end of it, but seeing all those flowers together was rather lovely.

No occasion. No plans. Just homemade pizza, good w**e and making the most of a summer evening at home.

Meet Renee’s Rose 🌹

Some fragrances are inspired by places. This one is inspired by a person.

My mum has always loved roses, and her garden was filled with them every summer. I remember her tending them in the early mornings, with dew-covered petals and the quiet soundtrack of birdsong as the garden came to life.

Renee’s Rose is my tribute to those memories, blending delicate rose with bright mandarin, gentle pink pepper and soft musk to create an elegant floral fragrance with freshness and depth.

Every candle in the Garden & Home Collection tells a story, and this one will always remind me of Mum in the beautiful garden she lovingly created. 🤍
