Always good to spend a solo day, doing a bit of research, a workshop and some retail therapy

The Festival of Quilts at the Nec in Birmingham.
An early start with a fabulous workshop with , I didn’t believe I’d be able to do it, but with some patience and time I made a little block, and now I’m a bit hooked. I’ve actually made another tonight (that’s what Friday nights are for hey?)

I also listened to a really inspiring talk by and learnt so much.

Plus I bought some lovely new fabrics and haberdashery and found some new suppliers and techniques.

Inspired by a group of amazingly strong women last week in Portugal
