FAREWELL FLOWERS…
In memory of Graham (Daddy to me and my siblings, and Grumpy to the grandkids). This natural, vibrant casket arrangement was an autumnal explosion of colour. The aim was to represent my dad’s colourful life, and the tribute flowers, incorporated his old paint scuttle and brush - a nod to his life spent as a painter and decorator.
Every stem was grown and arranged here on the flower farm and created using only sustainable mechanics. No floral foam in sight and definitely no nasties.
His service at Haycombe in Bath had the most incredible turnout - the chapel was packed with people in the corridor and spilling outside. My 11 year old was so brave and made me so proud, reading a funny poem all about ‘Grumpy’.
We all met afterwards at his local The Royal Oak fantastic to hear so many memories being shared from his many friends.
It was an emotional but humorous day with a hint of rebellion 🤘 just how my dad wanted it.
Sleep tight Daddy ###
