We welcomed Imogen to the Lima Team In August this year. She comes with a wealth of experience working with both British and German products for more than 10 years. Not only has she worked within clients homes, Imogen has also spent time designing and implementing showrooms and exhibitions for a national brand.

Undertaking full logistics and technical specifications, making her hands safe ones for your project.

In her own time she is undertaking a renovation of her own in a Victorian terrace house.

Her downtime is spent with friends and family at home, or travelling, on occasion she can be found with a G&T in hand.

A once‑dark, divided ground floor was been completely reimagined in this stunning Shaker kitchen project in Buckinghamshire.

The new space blends high functionality with effortless sociability, from a custom island shaped to the home’s unique angles to a mirrored splashback that keeps the whole room connected.

By opening up the layout and maximising natural light, the result is a bright, family‑focused kitchen living space that’s ready for everyday life and large gatherings alike.

A kitchen can look perfect on paper, but still feel wrong in real life.

This blog explores why layouts that follow all the “rules” can still create daily friction, from awkward walkways to clashing routes, and why good design is really about how you move, not just where things are placed.

If your kitchen feels off but you can’t pinpoint why, this piece explains the subtle details that make a space truly effortless to live in.

As the newest member of our design team, Katja joined us with experience in both British and German kitchens.

With a preference for the German aesthetic, she likes clean lines, symmetry and minimalism.

If this is not enough, Katja gained First Class Honours in Interior Architecture and Design.

Her favourite aspects of kitchen design includes getting to know our clients, helping them to visualise their space and turning ideas into reality.

Beyond the showroom, Katja is a keen ice skater and loves creating art – whether that is on a canvas or on her nails.
