Someone before has just caulked it after a new door’s been fitted. I dug it out and filled it with Repair Care Dry Flex 1 instead.

Old thermostat long disconnected from mains and customer just wanted it gone. So I used one of the gyproc patches and Toupret filler. It’s like it was never there!

Stripping Compo. Compo is incredibly fragile. It disintegrates with moisture and melts under heat. I tested a few different methods and this is one I found most effective, spray paint stripper.

200 years old door frame. Layers upon layers of paint removed! Looking beautiful now with a fresh coat of gloss. Just have the telephone wire left to clean up
