Well that’s it, after almost 7 years we’ve locked the door for the final time as we head off to retirement. We have had the most fun and rewarding time running the wee shop together and leave feeling proud of what we achieved - but we really couldn’t have done it without all of you!
Thank you to everyone who has supplied us, shopped with us and supported us. We’ve loved being part of the village community. We will miss working with the independent makers and small businesses. We will miss our lovely regular faces, the laughs and the blethers, the visitors from far and wide. We will miss helping you to find the ideal gift and those treats for yourself (you’re worth it) 🥰. We’ll miss the kids coming in to spend their pocket money, and we’ll miss your well behaved canine companions who were always rewarded with a gravy bone!
And finally, we want to say thank you to everyone who came in especially to say goodbye and wish us well, we were blown away by your kindness and your generosity of presents, cards and flowers. We really do appreciate you and we feel honoured, loved and very grateful.
