This dated oak sideboard was completely sanded, primed and professionally sprayed to give it a whole new lease of life.

Finished in Farrow & Ball Duck Green with updated brass hardware and a dark walnut stained top 💚

My client wanted a complete refresh, but I knew the top deserved to be saved. After sanding, spraying, staining and fitting new hardware, this is the final result.

A simple update can completely transform dated furniture.

This nest of tables really did look like they were ready for the skip! The tops were carefully stripped as they were very thin veneers, then stained in walnut and varnished for protection the legs stripped and painted.

These sideboards still had plenty of life left in them, but their dark colour and dated finish were making the room feel tired and old-fashioned.

As part of a full room makeover, my client got in touch to see if they could be updated rather than replaced – and what a transformation!

The tops were carefully stripped back to reveal the beautiful natural oak beneath before being re-varnished to enhance the grain and provide a durable finish. The rest of the pieces were thoroughly cleaned, sanded, primed and professionally sprayed in Farrow & Ball James White for a fresh, timeless look.

A perfect example of why you don’t always need to buy new. Quality furniture can be completely transformed to suit your home and style.

This fitted wardrobe had plenty of life left in it, but the oak-effect finish wasn’t working in my client’s son’s newly decorated bedroom.

Rather than replacing perfectly good fitted furniture, we removed the doors and drawers, professionally prepared and sprayed them in Farrow & Ball Purbeck Stone before hand-finishing the remaining units in situ.

Finished with new brushed chrome k***s for a clean, modern look.

The result? A completely refreshed wardrobe for a fraction of the cost of replacement.

✨ Wardrobe Transformation ✨

My client loved the storage these fitted wardrobes provided, but the dated wood-effect finish just wasn’t right for her son’s newly decorated bedroom.

The doors and drawers were removed and taken back to my workshop for professional preparation and spraying, while the fixed sections were hand-painted in situ for a seamless finish.

Painted in Farrow & Ball Purbeck Stone and finished the look with new brushed satin chrome k***s to complement the other furniture in the room.

The result? A completely refreshed, modern look for a fraction of the cost of replacing them. 🙌

My client originally wanted a completely new kitchen, but the existing one was still in fantastic condition — it just felt a little dated.

Before I started, the client updated the worktops and flooring, then I carefully stripped the kitchen and took all removable parts back to the workshop to keep disruption in the home to an absolute minimum.

Back at the workshop, every door and drawer was fully cleaned, sanded, primed and professionally sprayed for a flawless factory-style finish. The remaining fixed cabinetry was then completed by hand in the client’s home.

To complete the transformation, the old hardware was replaced with beautiful brass k***s and handles, perfectly complementing the chosen colour — Farrow & Ball ‘Joa’s White’.

We completely transformed the space by refinishing the existing cabinetry in Farrow & Ball Joas White with updated brass hardware for a brighter, more timeless feel.

A full new kitchen wasn’t necessary… and the transformation speaks for itself 🤍
