💫 Adding some glittery handmade loveliness to your Christmas 💫

I can not wait to get my glitter star out again this year to add to the top of our tree and everytime I make a new star for a family or couple I get that warm fuzzy feeling!

When I had the idea to create a tree topper I wanted to create something that was personal and could be used year after year (and of course there had to be glitter involved) but also, I love the versatility of them, why not add to a wreath or display on a shelf before the tree goes up!!

But why are you opening it just to your email list? I want the Thread Kind Co.mmunity to be a place where you feel as if you are getting the most and best experience - we can all start an email list but I want it to be a place where you hear all the news and deals first - so for this Christmas launch I have decided to open the Christmas shop and whole week earlier just for you, this also allows me to pay special attention to YOU - if you have any questions or special requests then I am here for you!

What if I don’t want to be on your email list?? I completely understand - we are constantly bombarded by emails, so don’t worry stock isn’t going to sell out and I am still here for you, but just a week later, as the Christmas shop will open publicly on 14th October! Here is it…introducing Thread Kind Co. and I am so excited for the next chapter in my small business journey!

I have been wanting to change my biz name for some time now and late one night it all just clicked, spiralling out from the word KIND.

Kind has been a big word in my business for a while now – kind word embroideries, shouting out the benefits of spreading kindness and shopping kind (the benefits of supporting and shopping from small businesses) and building a business that is kinder to the planet by creating small ranges, making to order, choosing fabrics that are kinder to the planet, eliminating plastic in packaging and much more!

Adding thread to the mix was an obvious choice, I really wanted my name to relate instantly to textiles and sewing, which is what I felt Laced Wing Designs missed, that instant connection to the media I work in.

As for the Co. this has many meaning but I really think it extends to this meaning of co.mmunity and co.llective I feel having a small business is one you can only do when you have people around you supporting you – so the Co. is really about YOU!! It also works really nicely with my word of business Co.urage and hope it makes me choose excitement over fear and to push me out of my comfort zone to build a better business - one that is right for me!

Changing my name has made me look back, I am grateful to where Laced Wing Designs has got me to today and I can’t wait now to start sharing more with you!! 💛💛

Hands at work!
I am loving working on these gold foil embroideries and am really enjoying the new development ideas that are springing from the original piece, like this baby name celebration piece almost finished and ready to be framed!

Every piece is made by my own hands and I am enjoying discussing new ideas with customers and how they can be made to fit their needs and colour schemes, which is the real beauty of handmade 🤍🤍
