I’m offering a new fused glass
lantern workshop that utilises a circular panel and a mirrored back panel. It’s a lovely thing to make and will be a great addition to your home or patio 😊.Here a few samples I’ve created to give you some inspiration but you might just want to do patterns or something similar?
If you’re interested in having a try at creating your own lantern panel please get in touch
I will be running 2 x workshops on 2 x Thursday evenings between 6-7.30pm
28th May and 11th June
No previous experience is required as full instruction will be provided
This workshop is for adults (16+) and is for a maximum of 6 students per session.
The cost is just £30 including the lantern

I’ve now completed the lanterns that the Czech school pupils created on the 9th May. It was lovely and bright outside the studio today so I decided to take some photos in the sunshine 🌞. All the students worked really well together and I think this is evident now the lanterns are complete
Thank you to Jana and Gerry for choosing me to carry out the workshops on behalf of the Czech veterans and I hope they will be pleased with these memorial lanterns for many years to come.

No previous experience is required as full tuition will be provided and because I only work with small groups you will be given guidance and help where required.

I’m offering Childrens Easter glass fusing workshops. You get to make one of the following sun catcher pieces.
An Easter bunny
An Easter chick
A spring lamb
An Easter chicken
The workshop lasts approximately 45mins and the pieces are then fired in the kiln ready for collection on Saturday 4th April from my studio in Mortimer (map and directions in the photos)
The workshop is aimed at children aged between 5 to 11 yrs old, however older students can have a go too if they want!
The cost is just £15 per person per sun catcher and the following sessions are available for groups of up to a maximum 6 x children per session

Wednesday 1st April - 10am to 11am, 12noon to 1pm and 3pm to 4pm
Thursday 2nd April - 10am to 11am, 12noon to 1pm and 3pm to 4pm

All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the duration of the workshop

I’m offering a number of spaces for my fused glass slurry flower making workshop on Saturday 14th March , a perfect gift for Mother’s Day at the following times
10-11.30am
12-1.30pm
2-3.30pm
There will be a maximum of 6 x spaces for each session
This is a great way to make some wonderful glass flowers to brighten your garden all year round. You can make up to 2 colourful fused glass flowers using powdered glass mixed with water on 5 x petals. The process is suitable for all ages, 8yrs and upwards, so great as a mother and child opportunity and no previous experience is required.
The cost is £55 to make 2 x 5 petal flowers or you can make a single flower for £30. These flowers make a colourful addition to any garden space all year round
Please be aware that all children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the duration of the workshop.
Due to the firing process you will need to collect your flowers from the studio the following Saturday.

I will be selling my glass gifts at the Sherfield on Loddon village market this Sunday (15-2-26) between 10.30 and 1pm. There will also be many other local crafts people and food producers there too.
I look forward to seeing all of you and having a chat and maybe buying some of my glass items.

I’d like to thank all the lovely people that attended my fused glass heart workshop last Saturday. I’ve attached photos of their creations and always find it fascinating how everyone creates unique pieces with lots of varied ideas.

Would you like to spend an hour and a half trying something creative and a little different?
I will be offering a fused glass heart workshop at my studio in Mortimer (map and directions in photos), on the 7th February in readiness for Valentine’s Day
You will start with a blank clear glass heart approximately 15cm x 15cm and then you will create your own design using frit (crushed glass), stringers (thin strips of glass) random glass shapes or you can cut the glass to make your own shapes, there is also ready mixed enamel paints to at fine details.
The workshop is for adults (16yrs +) as there is sharp pieces and you may want to cut the glass. No previous experience is required as full instruction will be provided as a group and individual basis if required.
The cost is just £35 per person and the workshop is for a maximum of 6 x students. The workshop will run from 2pm to 3.30pm. Due to the firing process you will need to return to the studio to collect your finished heart on the 14th February.
