Just realising it’s 6 months since we closed the shop and last posted on here 😭 We are finally getting around to sorting through the stock (and there’s lots) so we’ll be posting lots of bargains on our page over the next few weeks.

🍀 Happy St Patrick’s Day 🍀

St Patrick was born in the 4th century in Britain (many say Wales). He was actually captured by Irish pirates and taken there as a slave at the age of 16. He managed to escape after 6 years and came back to Britain to study Christianity ⛪️

He later returned to Ireland to begin his mission of spreading Christianity. Legend suggests that Patrick used the three-leaf shamrock on his mission to explain the Holy Trinity - the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit 🍀

It’s been stated that Patrick banished snakes from Ireland to help remove the evil and introduce a new age but experts state this is a myth as there’s no evidence snakes never existed there 🐍

Today the event is not only a religious festival but also a celebration - with parades, the famous green Boston river and lots of festivities 🎉
