❤️ AN END OF AN ERA – NELSON FITTING LTD ❤️
After 54 years in business, it is with an incredibly heavy heart that we announce the closure of Nelson Fitting Ltd.
As a family-run business, this shop has been such a huge part of our lives for over five decades. We have watched families grow, welcomed generations of customers through our doors, and helped make countless houses into homes. 🏡
Sadly, the last 6 years have been incredibly difficult and with the ever-rising costs of running a business, the never ending roadworks 😡 and wage increases, the difficult decision has been made to close our doors. After 54 years, it is sad to say goodbye to something that has been such a big part of our family and our lives.
We want to take this opportunity to thank every single customer who has supported us over the last 54 years. Whether you have shopped with us since the very beginning, recommended us to friends and family, or only recently walked through our doors, we are truly grateful.
Your loyalty, conversations and support have meant more to us than words can say. We have never just been a carpet shop; we have been a family business built on relationships, trust and the support of our local community.
Independent family businesses like ours would not have lasted this long without the wonderful people who chose to support us, and for that, we will always be thankful. ❤️
54 years of memories. 54 years of hard graft. 54 years of family.
As we close this chapter, we do so with immense pride in what we have built and heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been part of our journey.
From our family to yours, thank you for 54 incredible years. ❤️
I also want to say a huge thank you to Gill for welcoming customers for the past 27yrs and to Lynsey & Adam for the last 15yrs plus with fitting. I couldn’t have done it without you all.
And finally, we want to wish the new owners of the building the best of luck and whatever you do, we hope you make it a huge success 💙
