Hi hi,
We've got some really cool plans and projects coming up with our creative reuse centre and ecohub, Re:Youse CIC..
But first, as we're setting up, cleaning the old bike repair shop (OMG the oil!), and sweeping up hair caught down old shelves from when it was a barbers (minging!), not to mention getting rid of the 'FRIDGE OF DOOM' and chaos decorating.. we find ourselves in need of a few items to help us to become spit spot and totally ready for you all.
We've ploughed through all the freecycle/freegle/free to you sites, with great results. We've bought from charities, friends and family, gone to ethical/eco friendly/recycled-based businesses, and generally have been a bit stunned and amazed by what would otherwise be going to landfill. It's a definite education!
We have a bit of a wishlist, but basically, if you think you can help, you probably can.
If you're planning on getting rid of any of the following, we could probably make good use of it. Please consider us before landfill for any of the following?
Soft furnishings such as cushions, throws and rugs in good condition to help us create our cosy welcome area.
Two seater couches/sofas, or comfy chairs for the same.
Storage.. especially for cube-based shelves: baskets, drawers etc.
Locking filing cabinet
A till (we have a POS, but it's basic atm)
Display storage
Pegboards etc..
Any cleaning products (especially eco-based ones), cloths etc
We're an inventive bunch, and can make a lot of things work for us.
We are also now up and running with our fundraising campaign, which can be found here: https://www.spacehive.com/reyouseneston
Keep tuned to our socials, and keep checking our shop windows for more details of what we have coming up..
Thanks for reading
