It’s not always about the job itself, sometimes it’s about being there when a customer needs a little help and reassurance.

Today I revisited a customer whose project we completed around 18 months ago after she became concerned about a higher than expected water bill.

After carrying out checks, I was able to confirm there were no leaks, explain the likely reasons behind the increased usage and make her water meter more accessible so she can monitor it herself in the future.

Customer care doesn’t stop when the project is finished, and feedback like this means a great deal to us.

🚿 From Tired Bathroom to Stunning Contemporary Shower Room 🚿

Another Transformation Completed in Hythe this week.

When we first met with the customer, one of their biggest concerns wasn’t actually the bathroom itself—it was the poor hot water pressure throughout the property.

Rather than simply replacing the suite, we discussed the benefits of upgrading their existing vented hot water cylinder to a modern unvented pressurised hot water system. We then introduced them to one of our trusted specialist subcontractors who carried out the cylinder installation, ensuring the new shower room would perform exactly as intended. Thanks to P & T Plumbing for the cylinder works.

With the hot water upgrade complete, our team carried out a full strip out of the existing bathroom before transforming the space with:

• New 18mm timber flooring
• All new plumbing, waste pipework and electrical.
• 1700mm x 800mm walk-in shower complete with frameless glass and a concealed thermostatic shower valve with rainfall head.
• Modern 500mm wall-hung vanity unit with basin and mixer tap
• Close-coupled WC
• Illuminated mirror cabinet
• New LED lighting and ventilation
• Premium marble-effect decorative shower wall panels
• Wood-effect plank ceramic floor tiles
• Dual fuel heated towel rail for year-round warmth and convenience

The result is a bright, modern and low-maintenance shower room that feels significantly larger than the original space while retaining the property’s character features.

🌧️ When the weather tries to stop you, determination takes over! 💪

This week has certainly tested us, but with a tight deadline and a very special reason for getting the job finished, failure simply wasn’t an option.

Our customer needed this outdoor entertaining space completed in time for their daughter’s 21st birthday celebrations this weekend, so despite the rain showers and challenging conditions, the team pulled it out of the hat and delivered right on schedule! 🎉

The project started by infilling the existing flower beds and creating a solid concrete base to provide a stable foundation for the new installation. We then set out and levelled a new timber framework, carefully supported on plastic pedestal feet to help protect the timber from moisture and improve the longevity of the structure.

From there, we installed brand-new timber decking and steps before constructing a completely bespoke pergola designed specifically for the space. To create the perfect evening atmosphere, we added feature LED lighting throughout and finished everything off with stylish new rattan furniture ready for family and friends to enjoy.

The result is a beautiful outdoor living area that’s perfect for entertaining, relaxing, and making memories.
