I’ve finally finished my stumpwork version of Carnation, Lily, Lily, Rose! Mounted and packed for assessment later. I started this before my daughter was born and now she’s three, so I’m just so relieved it’s finished, no matter the score.
Hope it brightens up this rainy day 🌸🌸.


You may have noticed there aren’t of needlelaced elements. Some are on the stockings, hidden by the flocks.

A close-up look. I personally love the string wrapping around the bush. It sort of completes the story.

I’ve been busy “gardening” for the stumpwork module of my RSN diploma. I’ve put it away for too long that I forgot how joyful it is to create little blossoms and leaves and to see the garden flourish. In these photos are tiny lilies, roses and a rose bush. It’s still a work in progress, but hopefully it’s not too long till I can put everything together.

I’m currently in Hong Kong attending my sister’s wedding and here’s my gift to the happy couple 💕💕. The flowers are based on the drawings painted by my sis on their invitation. The flowers are intertwined with a silk ribbon with the couple’s names and the wedding date on it and come in a dome cover. I must share a video later to show you how it looks with the cover on, but now I have a wedding to go to! Cheers!🥂

Here we are near the end of 2025, so I’m sharing with you again the project I’m proudest of this year. I did have a fruitful year, with some stitching, two exhibitions, a few local workshops, an online talk, and a few things looming behind the scenes, and they all make me really happy!
Thank you so much for your kindness this year! Every like, every comment means so so much to me. I wish you all a lovely Christmas and I look forward to share more of my embroideries with you in the new year 🤗

September is looking exciting already as my work Still Life - Spring Onion and Garlic will be exhibiting at Festival of Arts & Crafts by , alongside works with many talented local artists. Besides the exhibition, there will be craft stalls and activities for all ages. Join the fun if you’re in the area 😃!

Some progress on my diploma project. Now it looks more complete with the lantern in the foreground. Yet there are loads of wired lilies and a big rose bush to add, so I’ll sample these next.

Hi everyone, I’m so pleased to be able to finally show you my portrait of Fiona, which is now safely in my client’s hand. Fiona’s sweet face was such a joy to stitch, and as it’s based on a photo of Fiona just coming out of a shower, you can see her beautiful feathers are quite fluffed up. I’ve tried to get as many details as possible and hopefully it can bring back sweet memories of her to her dear human🦜💚.
