Have spent all my working life doing what I can re the climate crisis as construction plays a big part. However without the help of relevant legislation from successive governments who continue to effectively deny that the emergency exists it is almost impossible to make any difference to decisions that clients make whilst designing a building project. Have just photographed a recently completed project of mine to create a comfortable family space with enormous sliding glazed doors opening onto a terrrace, barbecue area and lovely garden beyond. Previously a modest 2 bedroom Victorian house, this extension allows a third bedroom as well as this 'heart of the home' space at ground floor.
