A beautiful balance of light and dark 🤍🖤

This Crathorne kitchen in Dove Grey and Graphite brings together classic shaker-style doors with a sleek handleless rail detail, giving the space a clean, considered finish whilst still feeling warm and timeless.

The contrast of the soft Dove Grey cabinetry against the deeper Graphite units creates real depth, whilst the wood flooring helps bring warmth into the room. It’s a lovely example of how traditional detailing and modern touches can work together so well.

If you’re planning a new kitchen, our team would love to help bring your ideas together.

It’s nearly the end of September, which means we need to settle an important debate…

Are we decorating for Halloween yet, or do we need to wait a few weeks longer? 🎃

The poll is open on our Stories - we’d love to know what you think! 😂🙌

A kitchen should feel like part of your home, not simply somewhere to cook.

We love how this beautiful Cavendish kitchen flows into the adjoining living space, creating the perfect little spot to sit, enjoy a morning coffee or keep someone company while dinner is being prepared.

The Second Nature cabinetry in Dove Grey keeps the room feeling light and calm, whilst the Graphite handleless rail adds just the right amount of contrast. Paired with the soft tone walls, warm wood flooring and relaxed seating, the whole space feels welcoming, practical and full of personality.

A lovely example of how thoughtful kitchen design can bring so much more to the way you use your home. 🤍

It’s Friday. You’ve been working from the kitchen table all week… and it has officially lost its appeal. 😂

Sound familiar? Perhaps it’s time to give yourself a proper workspace. 😍✨

A fitted home office can be designed around your room, your storage needs and the way you actually work. That might mean a generous shared desk, cabinetry to hide away paperwork, open shelving for the things you want on display or a compact workstation fitted neatly into an otherwise unused corner.

And because every element is made to measure, it feels like a natural part of your home - rather than an office that has simply been dropped into it.

Cavendish isn’t just about kitchens. Talk to our designers about fitted furniture for bedrooms, home offices and living spaces too.

For those who love a traditional kitchen with just a little more detail…

The 1909 Ovolo collection takes the familiar Shaker style and adds a subtle decorative detail around the outer frame. It’s beautifully considered without feeling overly ornate, allowing it to sit just as comfortably in a period property as it does in a newer home.

Paired with painted cabinetry, carefully chosen handles and features such as a curved island or statement pantry, it creates a kitchen with real character.

It’s often the smallest details that make the biggest difference and they’re always best appreciated in person (at our showroom of course). 🤍

Clean, contemporary and incredibly versatile, there’s a reason Porter continues to be one of Second Nature’s most popular kitchen collections.

Its simple slab door creates a beautifully uncluttered look, but the finished design can be made completely personal through your choice of colour, worktops, handles and those smaller details that bring everything together.

Keep it soft and understated with warm neutrals, introduce contrast through a darker island or use statement handles to give the design a little more character.

Which one is your favourite?

Let’s talk bedroom storage…

Because a beautifully calm bedroom usually begins with having somewhere sensible to put everything.

Fitted wardrobes can be designed around the full height and width of your room, making use of space that freestanding furniture often leaves behind. Inside, the layout can be tailored around what you actually own - from full-length hanging and shelving to drawers, shoe storage and those awkward items that never seem to have a proper home.

The result? A bedroom that feels calmer, more considered and much easier to keep organised. 😍🫶

Thinking about a new kitchen but not quite sure where to begin?

Your first design appointment doesn’t need to involve a perfectly formed plan. In fact, arriving with a mixture of ideas, questions and things you know you don’t want is often a very good place to start.

A few useful things to bring along are:

• Rough room measurements or existing plans
• Photographs of your current space
• Any colours or images you’ve been saving
• A list of what works, and what really doesn’t
• An idea of how you would like the finished room to feel

Our designers will help you work through everything else, from the layout and storage to colours, finishes and those all-important finishing details.

Visit one of our three showrooms in Benton, Kingston Park or Ashington and start planning a space that feels completely your own. 🤍
