Stop wasting cash on a fluoride water filter if you live in the UK.

I sell water filters for a living — so here's me telling you that most of you don't need to buy a fluoride one. Most UK tap water is not fluoridated, so buying expensive filtration systems is often unnecessary.

There's a lot of advice online right now pushing everyone towards a fluoride filter. But only about 10% of the UK actually has fluoride added to its water — mainly the West Midlands and the North East. Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland don't add it at all.

For most people, that's money spent solving a problem you don't have.

Before you buy anything, check your postcode with your local water supplier — or drop us a message and we'll help you find out whether you've actually got fluoride in your water, and what (if anything) is worth filtering for your supply.
