As autumn approaches, keeping a comfortable balance between warmth and ventilation becomes increasingly important.

The Sheerline S1 roof lantern offers a clever solution with SheerVent®, a ventilation system designed to sit flush with the S1 rafters rather than standing out like a traditional roof vent.

For added convenience, SheerVent® can also be automated using powered actuators and rain sensors, helping ventilation become an integrated part of the overall roof design rather than an afterthought.

It’s a small detail, but one that can make a noticeable difference to the finished installation.

At NECS Group, we supply roofing solutions that combine practical performance with considered design.

When a roof window is positioned at eye level, the way it opens can make a noticeable difference to the space.

Top-hung roof windows open outward to provide an unobstructed view, while also allowing excellent ventilation. With the handle positioned at the bottom, they’re particularly practical for lower-level installations where easy operation is important.

Suitable for roof pitches from 15° to 55°, top-hung roof windows can be a versatile choice for loft conversions and other projects where maximizing natural light, ventilation, available space and views matters.

At NECS Group, we can help you find the right roof window solution for your project, taking into account the design, roof pitch and requirements of the space.

Autumn has a way of exposing the rooms that don’t quite work as they should.

As temperatures fall and the days get shorter, a conservatory with an inefficient roof can quickly become a space that’s too uncomfortable to use regularly.

A Guardian Warm Roof replaces the existing conservatory roof with a purpose-designed insulated system, helping create a more consistent environment as the seasons change. Its construction also incorporates ventilation and moisture management, important considerations as cooler, wetter weather arrives.

At NECS Group, our local, approved installation teams can assess your existing conservatory and help determine whether a Guardian Warm Roof is suitable for your home.

If your conservatory changes with the weather, perhaps it’s time to change the roof.

Need more space without compromising on performance?

A SIP panel extension can provide an efficient way to expand your home, using Structural Insulated Panel construction to create a strong, highly insulated building envelope.

Whether you’re planning a larger kitchen, additional living space, a home office or extra bedrooms, the specification can be tailored to suit how you want to use your extension.

At NECS Group, we can help you consider the type of extension, dimensions, interior requirements and additional features before providing a quotation.

The first cooler evenings of autumn can tell you a lot about your conservatory.

A roof that felt acceptable during the warmer months can become a very different story when temperatures drop and the heating goes back on. Cold spots, condensation and difficulty maintaining a comfortable temperature can all become much more noticeable.

A Guardian Warm Roof is designed as a complete, ventilated roof system rather than simply adding insulation over the existing roof. Its construction incorporates multiple layers of high-performance insulation and ventilation designed to manage moisture within the roof structure.

So while autumn changes what’s happening outside, the right roof can change how your conservatory feels inside.

If your conservatory is becoming the room you avoid once summer ends, it may be time to look at the roof.

A roof lantern should bring light into a space, but the details behind the glass matter too.

The Sheerline S1 incorporates several security-focused features, including anti-tamper screws, enclosed glazing, security tape and a glass-lock design, all working together to make external glass removal more difficult.

It’s a thoughtful combination of slim contemporary design and considered engineering, giving installers a roof lantern that looks the part while addressing practical security requirements.

At NECS Group, we supply a range of roofing solutions for modern residential and trade projects.
