Wheeler and Son Bespoke Furniture and Kitchens We are a small, family run business specialising in hand making bespoke furniture and kitchens using solid materials.

We can design your projects around the space you have, whether that is a kitchen, bookcase, wardrobe or any other storage solutions. I'm Dave Wheeler and I've been building bespoke furniture and kitchens for 25 years. I work together with my wife and son and offer a personal relaxed service to all of my customers. Please feel free to email us your drawings for a quote. From January 2021, my Dad handed over to me his joinery business allowing me run my own jobs and consult with customers myself, although he has taken a step back from the workshop he is always there for extra advice as he has over 20 years more experience then me.

20 metres of bespoke shaker-style panelling đź‘Ś

A full room transformation with shaker-style wall panelling, finished with a bespoke radiator cover and skirting board matched to the existing profile throughout the house.

The panelling was set out around the room to keep the proportions consistent, with the radiator cover incorporated into the design so everything feels like one continuous feature.

Really pleased with how the colour brings all the detailing together and completely changes the feel of the room.

This conservatory already had a low window sill running around the room, and the customer wanted to turn it into a bench seat for their dining table.

I built out a new timber frame, added deeper tops to create a comfortable seating area, then finished the front with matching panelling and skirting so it ties in with the existing room.

A simple change, but it’s made the space much more practical while keeping everything looking original to the conservatory.

Yesterday I had the privilege of marrying the most gorgeous and supportive woman I’ve met. She’s been by my side whenever I’ve needed her, and isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty in the workshop to help me on various projects. She’s simply is the best. The love of my life 🤍💍
