Dolphin Antiques hasn’t been open since Friday 26th June because that was our final day trading from our Newlyn shop.
We’ve started clearing stock, some of which is going off to auction to raise money for St. Julia’s Hospice in memory of, ‘Scottish Annie’ - Annie Metcalfe, who used to pop in most days.
Over the last 5 years, inc shop and online sales, we’ve sourced and rehoused over 10’000 items now located in places around the globe, such are the positive environmental credentials of resale industries.
I’ve enjoyed sharing my knowledge when customers ask and chatting away with regulars who I have got to know as friends. Going forward, we will be carrying out a much needed revamp to our building and retail space.

Silvia’s a bit upset with the news but as I said no more dog p*e up her legs or freezing outside the front door this winter!
