Yesterday I became a Meemaw 🥰

I'm 43 with three children, and I don't recall ever having been to a baby shower! But as my son's partner has no family here it seemed a nice way to let her know she has a support network here with us ❤️ So, we had a lovely painting session at my house with my son's Dad, his wife and their two teenage daughters, and my best friend who has known Connor most of his life. There were scones, and finger sandwiches, and bubbles, and most importantly love and laughter.

Most of our guests had left with their finished coasters before I even thought about getting the camera out sadly, but here are the "parents to be"'s coasters, and River's 🥰. I was having so much fun watching everybody else releasing their inner creativity I didn't even paint one myself.

Baby girl is due tomorrow and I am so excited to become a Meemaw 🥰

2 new badges for Half Million Steps and Raising £100 this week, and ended the week almost 10,000 steps over my 532,608 goal with 541,508 achieved so far!

This is even with taking Tuesday off for my grandaughter's baby shower 🥰👶💝

Baby is due any day now so who know's what will happen in week 8 😬
