My Daughter is doing her first ever art exhibition!

I'll be taking a trip to Showborough House near Tewkesbury today to visit the gardens, outdoor sculptures and, of course, the art exhibition.

Her first exhibition is a collection of beautifully detailed lino-cut prints and all can be purchased on the day.

I found this Frida Kahlo cushion panel at the bottom of my stash and finally made it into a finished cover with a bottle green zipped faux suede reverse.

A little update on yesterday's post - my daughter and her friend smashed their HYROX doubles target of 1hr 30mins by just over ten minutes 💪🏻

And they raised £892 for Macmillan Cancer Support too 💚 Well done girls!

I will be getting my own form of exercise later today by hauling about a large roll of fabric as I start another set of curtains for myself - first though, time to get a few new orders made 🪡

It's a beautiful sunny day and I've started it off by cutting up two trays of fudge that Daughter No.2 and I made last night 😋

It's her last day at the temp job before she heads off on her 3 month travels in a couple of weeks so we thought we'd make some sweet treats for her co-workers - I did sneak a few bits away for the hubster and I to enjoy later!

I've had a blitz on making up the last few cushion panels into covers - I won't be making any more in an attempt to reduce stock and change to making smaller items.
