What’s spookier than ghosts, ghouls and things that go bump in the night?

A freezing house 👻🔥

With Halloween tomorrow, the kids off school and plenty of families spending a bit more time at home, this is not the weekend to discover the log basket is empty.

Get the fire going, keep the wee toes warm and let everyone else worry about costumes, sweets disappearing at an alarming rate and whatever horror film someone decides is “not even that scary” 😂

We’ve plenty of quality kiln dried firewood ready to go, from handy Boot Bags through to bigger loads if you’re getting properly stocked for the colder weeks ahead.

Call into the yard, order online or give us a ring and make sure the only chills this weekend are the ones you actually planned for 👀🔥

Keep the wee toes warm this school break 🔥🪵

With the kids off, there’s a fair chance the house is going to be a bit busier than usual over the next few days.

More people under your feet, more snacks disappearing, a Halloween film getting stuck on the telly and somebody inevitably claiming they’re freezing while walking about in bare feet 😂

That’s where a proper fire comes into its own. Get a few good kiln dried logs on, get everyone settled in and let the weather do whatever it likes outside.

Whether you’ve got a full house for the break, the grandkids calling round or you’re simply enjoying having everyone home for a couple of days, there are worse places to be than gathered around a warm fire.

If the woodpile could do with a top-up before the long weekend gets going, we’ve plenty of quality kiln dried firewood ready to go.

A warm welcome goes a long way at this time of year 🔥

For hotels, guesthouses and inns, there’s something about walking in from the cold and seeing a proper fire going that immediately makes the place feel that bit more inviting.

And once those fires are being lit day after day through autumn and winter, having a reliable supply of good dry wood becomes pretty important.

Blazin’ Logs supplies premium kiln dried firewood to hospitality businesses across Northern Ireland, whether you need a larger stock-up for the colder months or regular deliveries to keep things running without the last-minute panic.

Birch, Ash, Oak and mixed hardwood are available across a range of load sizes, so we can help you find something that suits how often you burn and the setup you have on site.

If the fires are becoming part of the daily routine at your place, give us a call and we’ll help keep the wood side of things sorted 🔥🪵

November’s nearly here, so if the woodpile’s looking a bit light, now’s a pretty good time to get it sorted 🔥🪵

Once we get into November, the fire tends to be on a lot more often and that decent little stack can start disappearing quicker than expected. Better to have a proper supply sitting ready than realise halfway through a cold week that you’re down to the last few logs.

We’ve Birch, Ash, Oak and mixed kiln dried hardwood available across a range of load sizes and bag options, so whether you’re after a handy top-up or getting properly stocked for the colder months, there’s plenty to choose from.

And don’t forget about delivery. We offer free delivery on qualifying orders across BT1–BT18, BT29 and BT36, while orders of £100 or more qualify for free delivery elsewhere within our delivery area.

So with November knocking at the door, now’s a good time to get the good wood in and make sure the pile’s looking healthy before the colder weeks really get going 🔥

Oil prices doing nobody any favours at the minute 👀🔥

With the average price of 500 litres sitting around £575 across Northern Ireland, plenty of people will be feeling that one as we head further into the colder months.

So if you’ve already got a stove or open fire at home, there’s never been a better excuse to get some good dry wood in and make proper use of it.

A decent fire takes the chill off, makes the room feel right, and gives you one less reason to keep turning the heating up every time the temperature drops.

We’ve Birch, Ash, Oak and mixed kiln dried hardwood available in everything from handy Boot Bags through to full crates, depending on how stocked you want to be.

Oil’s expensive enough. Keep the firewood side simple 🔥🪵

More heat. Less hiss. Better fire 🔥🪵

That’s the beauty of properly kiln dried firewood.

With far less moisture sitting in the log, you’re not wasting the first part of the burn trying to cook water out of the wood. It gets going easier, burns cleaner and lets more of that energy go into producing useful heat.

You’ll notice it in the fire too. Less spluttering, less unnecessary smoke and a much steadier burn once everything gets established.

And over time, burning good dry wood also helps reduce the amount of soot and creosote being sent up through your stove and flue.

Basically, dry wood behaves itself 😂🔥

If the fire’s getting a regular shift again now, we’ve Birch, Ash, Oak and mixed kiln dried hardwood ready to keep it well fed.

Blazin Logs, cracking fires and warmer nights at home 🔥

That’s really what this time of year is about for us. Coming in from the cold, getting the fire going and feeling the whole place start to warm up around you.

Maybe it’s dinner on, maybe it’s a film, maybe it’s just finally getting sat down after a long day, but a proper fire has a way of making home feel that bit more inviting.

Good kiln dried wood, a steady flame and a warm room waiting for you when the evening draws in. Hard to complain about that.

If the fire’s back in regular rotation at your place, we’ve plenty of quality kiln dried firewood ready to go 🔥🪵

So, we’ve barked on about Birch plenty… but why is it such a popular choice? 🔥🪵

Birch is a brilliant wood when you like a bright, lively fire. It catches readily when properly dried, comes up to heat quickly and gives you plenty of flame early in the burn, which makes it a really versatile option for stoves, fireplaces and firepits.

There’s a bit of science behind it too. Birch bark naturally contains oils and compounds that help it ignite readily, which is one of the reasons it has been used for fire starting for generations.

Compared with a denser hardwood like oak, birch generally burns at a quicker pace, so it’s particularly good when you want plenty of flame and heat without waiting long for the fire to get established. Plenty of people also like pairing it with a denser wood when they want to change the character of the burn as the fire goes on.

Kiln dried, ready to burn and available in everything from handy Boot Bags through to bigger loads, there are plenty of reasons Birch remains one of our favourites 🪵🔥

Why is a crate such a great option? 🔥🪵

Simple really. You get a proper amount of wood in one go, neatly stacked and ready to work through at your own pace.

For anyone burning regularly through autumn and winter, a crate means fewer top-ups, less messing about and a decent supply sitting there when you need it. It also makes it easy to see exactly what you’ve got left instead of discovering halfway through the week that the pile has quietly disappeared.

And because we’ve got different hardwood options available, you can pick what suits how you like to burn. Birch for a lively start, ash for a dependable all-round burn, oak for something slower with a bit more staying power, or a mixed option if you like having a couple of choices in the stack.

If the fire is on most evenings, a crate is one of the handiest ways to get properly stocked for the colder months.

Order online, call into the yard or give us a ring and we’ll get you sorted.

There’s something about that proper October air that’s hard to beat 🍂🔥

A bit of a chill when you step outside, the leaves starting to turn, then back through the door to a warm fire and something hot in the mug. It’s one of those simple combinations that makes this time of year pretty hard to dislike.

And after a week of running about, a Friday evening with the fire going, nowhere urgent to be and the weather left to do whatever it wants outside sounds alright to us.

If that’s roughly the plan at your house tonight, make sure there’s some decent wood within arm’s reach. We’ve plenty of quality kiln dried firewood ready to go, whether you’re calling into the yard or ordering online.

Here’s to a warm one, folks 🔥🪵
