What’s on the cutting mat today then.
Well a little craft caddy to keep all those bits and bobs to carry upstairs without making 2 trips or dropping stuff everywhere. A quilted tray to throw in all those off cuts you want to keep or bits of anything that dosent have a home as well as a very useful tissue holder you never thought you needed until you have one…..andvthen some chopped up fabric waiting for the magic wand treatment…….I wish…..

What’s on the cutting mat today.
Well i dont know about you but I am reeeeaaaallllllly fed up with this cold wet weather. So turned my sewing room into a beach hut bag making event this afternoon to cheer myself up…..a few more cut out but the rugby is on so watching England V Wales in the 6 Nations in the comfort of my own home, thank you ITV.
Getting a bit of stock together for a few fairs in the Spring and Summer……

have launched their book choices for this year. Honestly? How have they made their decisions?! A really fantastic list.
But, we have hundreds & hundreds to choose from- great books to build empathy & support children’s mental wellbeing without ever having to use adult, complex language. Being seen in a story is why I do what I do.
Some stories will make us giggle & some may bring a tear, some will help us visit places we may never visit, meet people we may never see face to face. If woven into those stories are feelings, fears, hopes & dreams, coping mechanisms for when things are tough - then that’s where books can really make a difference.

I’ve looked on the TT shelves & pulled a few favourites to share. Brace yourself for incoming posts!🙃😆
