I would like to introduce you all to the Cheesetastic range! This is the smallest entry level cheese board in this range. It is made from a Douglas fir which grew in Broardley's Wood in Mount Stewart until it was blown down by Storm Eowyn in January 2025. Please stay tuned for more in the Cheesetastic range......😀

A few weeks ago I was delighted to make this special time piece for a special person who had worked for the National Trust for 16 years in both Mount Stewart and Castle Ward. With this in mind I made the clock of Cork oak from Mount Stewart and also with inserts from the giant Sequoia that still grows in the pinetum in Castle Ward (the one with the top missing).

A wee side project bringing this draw knife back to life for the Mount Stewart Forester. I used a branch from a Yew tree from Thomsons wood for this project.

Finally finished this Sun & Moon mantle clock in 2 tone Cherry & Ash wood which is locally sourced from the wider Mount Stewart estate. It is a bespoke creation for a local customer.
