Well it has taken a little bit longer than I anticipated, but the curtains are done and hung in the boat, they look amazing if I do say so myself. Thank you for inviting me to make them !

And Boat captains…. Don’t get these wet 🤣

This week the Tiny Studio has a special job to do.

Before Christmas during the heavy rains, Scouting Venture sank and everything on board was damaged and had to be stripped out.

The Tiny Studio runs a yearly Craft and Cruise session using Wakefield scouts canal boats. The Crafters were sad to hear what had happened and The Tiny Studio has offered to make new curtains for Scouting Venture, so she can be ready for duty when she is completed.

It is with a huge amount of hard work and graft that the team, which includes my brother Tony, has taken her from sunken Galilean to back to her ad Venture self. Well done everyone and standby for the curtains! There is only a gazillion eyelets to put in!

Here at the Tiny Studio we are getting ready to host the first Silent Book Club The Silent Book Club @ The Hidden Gem Pontefract

When: Saturday 11th January between 10:30am and 12:30 noon.
Where: Hidden Gem, 4, Belks Court, WF8 1DF
What to bring: A book and yourself......
How does it work? Arrival and get your refreshments, chat and relax for about 30 minutes. Then read read read for an hour! Then you can socialise or carry on reading for the last half hour!

Refreshments and cake are available. £5 per session. Covers refreshments and room charge.
