The Craft shop may be closed but we are continuing to support Starfish Malawi with our crafts and donations. So if you are able to provide your items (Maidstone area), please let me know by emailing me - [email protected] and I'll collect from you if you want.

The container has arrived in Salima and the latest Starfish Malawi newsletter giving all the news is available on www.starfishmalawi.com. I am frequently taking items to the storage place ready for the next container which will leave in Spring 2027.

On 5th September, we held a British SatChat event in The Life Church cafe. We served Cottage Pies, Irish Stew, Leek & Potato Soup, Haggis, Apple Crumbles, Bara Brith fruit cake, trifle, etc - all very British!! The place was festooned with Union Jack flags. No charges are made at these events but people are very generous. Together with sales from the Craft Shop, £943 was raised for Starfish Malawi! Fantastic!

The next SatChat is on Saturday 7th November, 11am-1pm and will have delicious samplings of food from Sierra Leone and West African countries. Make a note to join us!

We will have a table of craft items for sale too.

Happy crafting!

We shall be closing our shop on Saturday 5th September and will be selling everything for Starfish Malawi. The room is much needed for our many Mums and babies at our Sunday morning meetings. They will be able to see a live stream in the room so that they feel part of the church. It's a good problem to have in a church!

It is great making things for Malawi and please be assured that if you want to continue making things, we will arrange to collect items from you and pass them on to the storage for the next container delivery. Just email me on [email protected].

Thank you for following us over the years. It has been fun.

We shall still be running our SatChat events on the first Saturday of each month when different countries present us with their delicious foods to try. No charges are made, but we accept donations for Starfish Malawi. As you see, it's a British feast on the 5th September. Come and join us at 13 Brewer Street Maidstone ME14 1RU.
