We all know the noise. The roar.
Roughly 12,000 Geordies standing shoulder to shoulder in the Gallowgate, full of passion, pride, and belief. A sea of black and white flags rippling as the chants of Blaydon Races echo around St James' Park.
It’s hair on the back of your neck excitement that few grounds in world football can ever match.
Now take a step back.
Imagine looking at that stand on a matchday and seeing nearly half of it wiped out. Over 5,200 empty seats.
Imagine the sudden chill. The silence. The massive, gut-wrenching space where brothers, fathers, sons, and mates used to stand and sing together.
Each year in the UK, roughly 5,200 men take their own lives.
That is over 5,200 empty seats left behind every single year. 5,200 too many.
And that is exactly why we care so deeply about what we do at ANDYSMANCLUB.
We want every supporter heading home to their family after the game, no matter what happened on the pitch.
We want every kid sharing a matchday routine with their dad, grandad, or brother to keep those same seats side by side for decades to come.
We want every single man out there to know that no matter what battle you’re facing behind closed doors, you do not have to carry it on your own.
It’s always okay to talk.
No man left behind.
