✨ A recent dining area transformation completed by the team at DC Upholstery Services! ✨

This project was a little different. The existing box base was already in place, so rather than replacing it, we manufactured a brand-new timber frame to sit neatly on top, creating a bespoke banquette seating area that perfectly suits the space.

To complete the look, we also reupholstered the two dining chairs in matching fabrics, tying the whole dining area together for a stylish, cohesive finish.

We love how the combination of the soft neutral faux leather and patterned fabric has transformed this room into a modern, comfortable space that’s perfect for everyday family life.

We were delighted to recently complete a collection of bespoke upholstered headboards for the beautiful guest rooms at Jesmond Dene House Hotel.

Designed to complement the hotel’s elegant interiors, each headboard was handcrafted to the client’s specification, combining luxurious fabrics, intricate detailing, and exceptional comfort to create a truly welcoming guest experience.

From initial concept through to manufacture and installation, every piece was produced in our North Shields workshop with the attention to detail that commercial hospitality projects demand.

This classic Parker Knoll 3-seater sofa and matching recliner have been given a complete new lease of life with a full reupholstery in this stunning rich red chenille fabric. ❤️

The original suite was still structurally sound, making it the perfect candidate for recovery rather than replacement. By retaining the quality Parker Knoll craftsmanship and updating the fabric, we’ve created a completely refreshed look while preserving all the comfort these suites are renowned for.

Sometimes it’s not the whole sofa that needs reupholstering… just updating the cushions can completely transform the look. ✨

For this project we reupholstered the seat and scatter cushions in a stunning statement fabric, whilst keeping the existing sofa body. To tie everything together beautifully, we finished the piping and footstool top in genuine leather for that extra touch of luxury.

A great example of how a partial reupholstery can breathe new life into your furniture without the cost of a full recover.

A recent commercial project completed for the fantastic team over at 🍷

This full venue transformation featured bespoke banquette seating manufactured completely from scratch by our team, designed and built to suit the character of the space perfectly. The deep channel detail in this rich green velvet was chosen to complement the venue’s branding and create a warm, luxurious atmosphere throughout both floors.

To complete the finish, we incorporated professionally sprayed green kickboards combined with the exposed brickwork, dark panelling and warm brass tones, the finished result brings a real premium lounge feel to the venue.

Another full bespoke install completed ✔️

This one was designed, manufactured and fitted completely from scratch to suit the space — creating a seamless, wall-to-wall feature headboard with integrated lighting along with a matching divan bed base reupholstered in the same fabric.

The vertical fluted panels add depth and structure, while the soft, neutral fabric keeps everything calm and understated. Finished off with floating bedside units and warm ambient lighting to tie the whole room together.

Everything is made to measure, ensuring a perfect fit — especially important in rooms like this with angled ceilings.
