NOVEMBER OPEN BARN 🍂

Friday 6th & Saturday 7th November | 10am–3pm

The next Fox & Peel Open Barn is in the diary!

We’re back on the road, buying and collecting all sorts of lovely things for November. There are some fabulous new finds coming into the barn - I’m already looking forward to getting everything unpacked and styled.

Expect beautiful old paintings, French ceramics, rustic furniture, decorative antiques, textiles and plenty of unusual pieces.

I’ve also found some rather wonderful gift ideas — perfect if you’re starting to think about Christmas, or just fancy treating yourself. I won’t judge. 😂

I’ll be sharing a few previews as we get closer, but there’ll be plenty more to discover when the doors open.

I’m sitting in the barn after a gorgeous day, with the late afternoon sunshine streaming through the windows and lighting up all those lovely old French pots. I couldn’t resist taking a few photos.

What a fabulous first day we’ve had!

It’s been lovely seeing familiar faces, catching up with friends and welcoming lots of people to the barn for the first time. We’ve been incredibly lucky with the weather too.

A huge thank you to everyone who came today. I’m feeling very grateful as I sit here enjoying a few quiet moments in the barn before heading home.

And the good news is, we’re open again tomorrow!

A LITTLE PEEK BEFORE WE OPEN… 👀

Well, the buying is done, the barn is full and after several days of moving things around (and then moving them back again 😂), we’re almost ready!

Here’s a little look at what’s waiting behind the barn doors…

Beautiful old paintings, French ceramics, characterful furniture, decorative antiques and all sorts of other lovely finds.

There’s plenty more I haven’t shown you yet, but you’ll have to come and see those for yourself!

ART & POTS. ALWAYS.

Two things I will never tire of buying.

I love an old painting for the character, colour and atmosphere it brings to a room, and old ceramics for their shape, glaze and all the marks they’ve picked up along the way.

Put the two together and, for me, it’s a pretty perfect combination.

There will be plenty of both at the barn this week — including vintage French paintings, antique French pottery and ceramics, alongside rustic furniture, decorative antiques, textiles and lots more.

WE ARE OPENING THE BARN DOORS FOR TWO DAYS
Friday 9th & Saturday 10th October | 10am - 3pm

If you love antiques, vintage and pieces with plenty of age and character, come and have a rummage around the Fox & Peel barn.

I’ll be filling it with finds gathered from across the UK, Europe and beyond — rustic furniture, old ceramics and kitchenalia, paintings, decorative antiques and plenty of unusual smaller pieces.

We only open the beautifully curated barn on selected dates, when there’s lots of fresh stock to discover, so pop the dates in your diary and make a trip of it.

THANK YOU… & THE NEXT OPEN BARN 🌿

A slightly belated but very heartfelt thank you to everyone who came to the barn over the weekend.

To those who travelled to see us, came back for another visit, brought friends, stopped for a chat or went home with something from the barn — thank you. I never take your support for granted and it was such a lovely couple of days.

And while I’m apparently incapable of resisting green ceramics — French, Spanish, Moroccan Tamegroute 😂 — I’m already thinking about what other beautiful and unique pieces I can find for the next Open Barn.

So, diaries out…
